Karavan shopping malls chain’s pool of tenants started enlarging with new important retailers after it came into management of DCH Group (represented by CDA real estate, the chain’s managing company).
A new cinema of the Multiplex chain will open in Karavan shopping mall in Kyiv at the end of the year as a part of revamping of its entertainment complex. State of the art digital cinema halls, equipped in accordance with high quality standards of the leading cinema chain, VIP sectors with Super Lux seats fancied by regular customers, and convenient timetables – all those advantages Multiplex promised in its new cinema. The interior of the multiplex will change substantially, and the bar’s range will be completely renewed with drinks, snacks, and a great number of popcorn kinds with various flavours and of different sizes. The total capacity of the cinema will be around 1000 seats, all the halls now being digital, including 3D ones. Price policy will remain customer friendly; meanwhile, the number of screenings of the latest films will let everyone interested experience the magic world of cinema without waiting in a foyer for a long time.

Therefore, we aim at constructing high-tech cinemas only in the best shopping malls. Furthermore, Karavan shopping mall in Kyiv is going to renew its foodservice zone by opening the first Ukrainian food court by KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) international chain. Kyiv citizens will have a chance to try brand’s chicken fillet sandwiches, considered the best in the world, and appraise the rest of the menu. A respective long-term contract was signed between CDA real estate and Global Restaurant Group-Ukraine LLC, a subsidiary company of the American Global Restaurant Group (GRG), this mid-July.
We remind that KFC company was founded in the USA in 1952. Today its subsidiaries successfully operate in 110 countries.
“We intend to continue working on reinforcement of the tenant mix and plan to take our shopping malls to a new level of quality, thus providing our visitors with a wider and more interesting range of goods, services, and entertainment. We are also thankful to our new partners Multiplex and Global Restaurant Group LLC for high evaluation of our work and their readiness to cooperate. We are presently collaborating on opening KFC food courts in our other shopping malls,” said the director of CDA real estate rental department Aleksandra Negoda.
