Adaptation process of the Euro-2012 objects to the present city needs has been in progress almost for two months. Among other things, International airport “Kharkov” completed the reconstruction of hangar which was used as temporary passenger terminal during the football championship. Initially this building was for business aviation airplanes storage and maintenance. For continental football championship in Kharkov the hangar was fitted up to function as a passenger terminal for arrivals and departures. At present time the hangar is brought in accord with its initial purpose.
“There is a maintenance base of Diamond airplanes, Robinson and Enstrom helicopters at our hangar. At our airport training is available on these aircraft types and as a result you can get a pilot license”, – pointed Vladimir Vasilchenko, CEO of New Systems AM (the operator company of International Airport “Kharkov” belongs to DCH group headed by Alexander Yaroslavsky).
According to him, instead of mentioned aircraft, you can also see other private aircraft in the hangar, e.g. Bombardier Challenger 300, YAK-40 etc.
There is a separate option for journalists – in any time they can take photos of aircraft on which pilot training is held. For this purpose they should reach the company “Rotor” and its employees will recommend them the time when maximum possible quantity of aircraft will be in the hangar.
