On April 28 in the press-centre of FC "Metalist" there was a press-conference, dedicated to the hosting of the International Forum of airports and air carriers Routes CIS, which will be the part of the 28 апреля в пресс-центре ФК «Металлист» состоялась пресс-конференция, посвященная проведению Международного форума аэропортов и авиаперевозчиков Routes CIS, the World Forum on the development of air routes (The World Route Development Forum) and will be held on June 7-9, 2010 at the International Airport "Kharkiv".
The Forum will bring together about a thousand participants - the industry's market leaders in Europe, USA, CIS, Middle East, the top management of Airports, airlines, suppliers and contractors of the aviation industry, financial and investment institutions, international and regional professional associations, national tourism organizations, diplomatic and sales representatives, accredited in Ukraine. The structure of the forum organizing committee are included representatives of DCH group, the international airport "Kharkiv" and the operating company of the event "Investing in Kharkiv".

Irina DYADCHENKO, «Routes CIS» representative in Ukraine, stressed that Kharkiv wasn`t chosen the host of the Forum by chance - a reason for that was the dynamic development of the International airport "Kharkiv", which is being provided by DCH group of companies and its owner, Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi in preparation of the city to Euro-2012.
The representative of the organizers of the UK, commercial director of The Route Development Group - an organizer of Routes CIS 2010 Natasha PECK noted that "it will be our first event in the CIS, and Kharkiv was chosen because of its geographical position and potential to become a transportation hub between East and West, as well as through the development of the city and the airport." .jpg)
Construction of the new airport terminal and runway - said N. PECK - made a big impression on me, and I am sure that our delegates will enjoy the time spent here, and will hold successful business negotiations. The magnitude of Kharkiv, staying in the city and the hospitality, she said, "have convinced me that Routes CIS will be a great success."
As participants of the press conference noted, an event consists of two forums: the development of aviation and Routes CIS. The first one is being organizeв ин the British company The Route Development Group Limited. It was hosted in many countries around the world - Africa, Asia, America, Europe, the United States. In Ukraine and in CIS aviation meeting of this magnitude will be hosted for the first time.
Airlines, airports, and the International Air Transport Association, as well as the world's media are interested in the International Development Forum of the CIS routes -«ROUTES CIS».
A big branch conference on development of airports in Ukraine and the CIS, in which participants will discuss the strategic development of airports, new air lines, budget flights, trends in investment in airport development will take place during the three days. Two international exhibitions are being prepared separately: aeronautical engineering (aircrafts, airport ground equipment) and equipment for airports` servicing. Foreign companies are interested in the exhibition, Kharkiv aircraft plant is already prepared to take part from Ukraine.
Hosting such events is extremely important for Ukraine, taking into account the priorities of the state industrial policy, one of which is the development of the aviation industry. As previously reported, the fact of holding a forum in Kharkiv was positively evaluated by representatives of the central government during the visit of head of state to the "first capital".
