June 7-9 in Kharkiv will be a forum "Routes CIS", which takes place in the framework of the World Forum on the development of air routes "The World Route Development Forum". As the correspondent of IA "MOST-Kharkov" reports, "Investing in Kharkov" director (authorized Routes CIS Ukraine representative, coordinator of the airforum) Irina Dyadchenko noted that the main aim of the forum is to conclude contracts for the development of air service in Kharkiv. "The directions, on which Kharkiv citizens will fly, i.e. when will the airport be ready depends on the contracts signed at the forum" - said Mrs. Dyadchenko. In addition, Irina Dyadchenko reported that President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich supported the idea of the forum. "DCH group beneficiary Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi presented to the President the idea and plans for airforum. And the President supported the holding of such a forum," - she said. According to Irina Dyadchenko in airforum will be attended about 1 thousand of companies, 70% of them are foreign. She added that Ukrainian companies "have to be persuaded to register".
For foreigners the Ukrainian market is interesting and promising, since "at least four airports in Ukraine will be seriously reconstructed or rebuilt." Irina Dyadchenko reported that about 20 Kharkiv companies and firms will be attracted to the organization and maintenance of the forum. "They are all great patriots of the city. It`s no secret that we are not paying them for prices. Yes, of course, we give them the opportunity to show themselves, offer various discounts, but more than half of it is their patriotism," - stressed Dyadchenko. The representative of the organizers of the airforum from Britain Natasha Peck stressed that this forum is held for the first time in the CIS.
According to her, Kharkiv was chosen due to its favorable geographical location, as well as the active development of infrastructure. Natasha Peck added that she was amazed by Kharkiv and its size. "Moreover, you have a great stadium. I hope to visit here again and cheer for England at Euro 2012, - said Mrs. Peck. Answering the question, whether Kharkiv will have low-cost transportation, Natasha Peck said that the Forum will have budget airlines, which provide such services. At the same time, contracts will depend on these companies and the Kharkiv airport, added Mrs. Peck.
