Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi`s DCH Group (general investor and coordinator of Kharkiv's preparation for Euro-2012) has allocated UAH 1.3 million to the restoration and replacement of trolleybus contact and cable networks, close to being built on Svobody Square 5* hotel Kharkiv Palace.
The need for this work is related to the fact that the contact network of the Public Enterprise "KhTTM" (Kharkiv tram trolleybus management) on Trynklera and Pravdy streets are in disrepair. Lack of allocations from the city budget to repair and update contact networks has led to the fact that they are a threat to life and health of Kharkiv citizens.
This is confirmed by the recent situation near the metro station "Derzhprom", where during the scheduled work to replace the lamp tubes showed signs of collapse of one of the supports, simultaneously used by KP "Gorsvet" as support for street lighting lanterns. According to the results of the survey, the angle of support networks is much bigger than normative values. Deterioration of cable networks, laid on the supports, also represents a danger to residents.
Therefore, on the first stage DCH Group has taken temporary measures - the builders have strengthened supports by installing the struts. However, seeing no prospects of solving the issue by authorized city services, DCH management has decided to move to the second stage - self-finance replacement and restoration of damaged supports and networks.
According to the approved project completely replaced the supports and trolleybus contact networks on Trynklera and Pravdy streets in areas directly adjacent to the territory of Kharkiv Palace, and on Svobody Square they reconstructed the supports. In general, the reconstruction and replacement of equipment owned by Kharkiv city (represented by KhTTM and Gorsvet) DCH Group has allocated UAH 1,3 million as private investment.
