Every day in the main Kharkiv square "grows" the building of a new five-star hotel "Kharkiv Palace". And today one can see a grand scale of this object of Euro 2012. The hotel will not only fill the emptyness between the building of Kharkiv University and hotel "Kharkiv", but also decorate one of the biggest squares in the world.
As you know, during the Euro 2012 this hotel will accommodate UEFA target groups, as well as mini-headquarters of UEFA. The opening date for this is December, 5 this year, which is also the birthday of the general investor of the construction - Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi. There is no doubt that the object will be put into operation at the proper time, tournament director Markiyan Lubkivsky also has no doubt in this.
Work plan for the construction is being fully executed, everything goes according to schedule. The work does not stop on weekends or on weekdays. 350 people work at the facility around the clock. "The percentage of preparedness is changing every second!" - Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi.
According to the investor, a highlight of the hotel would be that it will be available from all sides, that is, people can walk around without any obstacles. In total the hotel will have 13 floors and 180 beds. The first floor will house a casino, the second - ballroom for 2,000 people. Another highlight of the Kharkiv Palace will be the roof, where there will be outdoor cafe with a panoramic view to the city.
In addition to internal improvement, builders are also working on an external modernization. Around all parts of the hotel there was marble laid almost everywhere, they have made the steps. The entrance to the metro station Derzhprom was also completely redesigned.
"The task of the architects was to make such a format that it does not stand out from the overall presentation of "horseshoe", which borders the square. Those are, for example, Gosprom, University buildings that have a certain style. The hotel building should fit into this style and it fits. This is not French "luxury", it is discreet luxury" - told Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi about the architectural style of the hotel.
The new hotel will also consider the needs of people with disabilities. Specifically for them stereo equipment will be built in.
Apparently, the guests of the first capital will be very pleased with the hotel infrastructure, which is presented in the center of the host city of Kharkiv. Kharkiv Palace, as the object of Euro 2012, on its example shows real progress in construction and in general preparing the country for the championship.
