On May 27, 2011, in Kharkiv International Airport (airport operator - the company New Systems AM, Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi`s DCH Group) will be officially tested the capacity of the new passenger terminal.
During the test such basic tasks will be carried out:
• working out the main routes of passengers in new airport terminal in the normal and reverse mode, and in the "domestic flight" mode to determine the actual capacity of the new terminal of "International Airport Kharkiv" during EURO 2012;
• identification of the real number of required parking spaces for buses and shuttles on the airfield station square in the part serving the new terminal;
• working out the arrangements for transportation of large groups of fans from the stadium to the airport and back in real mode;
• working out the major routes of fans using the rolling stock of passenger electric vehicles of large capacity;
• working out measures for road safety and public order during the period of transportation of large groups of fans;
• working out a dispatching schedule to traffic for the rout Stadium - Airport - Fan Zone;
• working out dispatching actions and emergency-service ground transportation in case of emergency.
We recall that on April 27, 2011, Kharkiv International Airport (airport operator - the company New Systems AM, Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi`s DCH Group) already held a pre-test of the capacity of the new passenger terminal. The event was held in preparation of the object to host the fans of Euro 2012, which will arrive to the "first capital" for the matches of the tournament next year. According to event organizers, pre-test was successful, running time confirmed the readiness of the Kharkiv airport for final testing.
