The first hotel in the city - Kharkiv Palace, which is being constructed as a 5-star one, is being built ahead of schedule. This the coordinator of Kharkiv preparation for Euro-2012 Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi told during the Ukrainian press tour.
According to him, construction goes around the clock, the facility employs about 350 people. "The area around the hotel was modernized. It is 16000 square meters of marble. There were built huge steps (1300 square meters), which I think will become a favorite meeting place for young people. There will be the square not worse than in Rome," - says Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi.
The hotel consists of two buildings. The first two stores will house a casino and business center, and on the roof there will be the outdoor cafe with a view to the city center. The second part - a 12-storey hotel. The first 11 floors - rooms with 180 beds. The upper two floors - bars, gyms, swimming pool, SPA-center.
Hotel project was designed by Kyiv company. According to Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi, British and Kharkiv architects have also took part in the designing. The main objective was to fit a building to the existing architectural ensemble. Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi described the style as "restrained luxury".
The hotel is planned to be put in the operation on December, 5 this year. Total investment - 100 million dollars. Total area - 25,000 square meters. m.
