Construction of Kharkiv airport temporary terminal will be finished in July 2011. This to Information Centre "Ukraine 2012" told the main investor and coordinator of Kharkiv preparation for Euro 2012 Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi.
According to him, they will not only build this terminal, but also modernize the entire area, which surrounds it. "I think in a month - month and twenty days we will finish all works. We did not expect ourselves to do everything so quickly" - said Mr. Iaroslavskyi.
He added that after Euro 2012, part of a temporary terminal will be modernized as show-room for helicopters, and another will store warehouses. "These buildings will be used for commercial purposes and after the championship it will be fully working" - summed up Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi. The latter also said that in September they will complete all works on the reconstruction of the existing - the future VIP-terminal and airport runway, which is being built by the state, must be finished by the end of this year.
