Kharkiv objects of Euro 2012 take into account the needs of disabled

Kharkiv objects of Euro 2012, responsibility for the preparation of which took the group of companies DCH, are being constructed and reconstructed to meet the needs of people with disabilities. In particular, the Metalist stadium is equipped with more than a hundred specialized areas for different categories of people with disabilities. Including prescribed, and places for fans who have vision problems. Currently, there`s planning of the volume of purchasing hearing devices (headphones), which will let such visitors to watch the match with the help of narrative of commentators. In addition, in the RSC Metalist it was provided more than one hundred parking spaces for private vehicles of people with disabilities and their accompanying persons. Also, there were equipped 4 special toilets for people with disabilities in the stands, specialized catering points were provided.
 
Needs of the disabled were taken into account when designing the new terminal of International airport "Kharkiv". It implements all the necessary conditions for moving and service of groups of the population with disabilities in different functional zones: the entrance zone, the zone of Technology Services (all stages) and the provision of additional services, sanitary facilities, means of escape. In the new passenger terminal building the elevators, door openings and all emergency exits have options that allow you to use a wheelchair. In the case of landing of disabled people on the aircraft will be used a specialized car lifts, are already scheduled to be purchased. Each group of toilets, intended for passenger service, have in their composition lavatory for passengers with disabilities. On the square in the railways there in slopes, the surface is smooth and not slippery. In the parking lot there were allocated space for private vehicles with disabilities who have special markings and parking space with width 3,5 m.
 
Options for comfortable movement and disability services were thought out during the design of a new five-star hotel Kharkiv Palace, which will be commissioned later this year in the central square no less carefully. On the ground floor entrance to the building is made with the project marks on the ground, and the height of the curb at the intersection of the sidewalk does not exceed 20 mm. Additionally, a special ramp for the entrance from Pravdy avenue in a shopping gallery located on the territory of the hotel. Their personal vehicles guests with disabilities will be able to leave at the special parking places from which there is a ramp to the elevators hotel. On the first and second floors of Kharkiv Palace there will be equipped with toilets for the disabled. The third floor will house the specialized suites for people with disabilities in the amount of 2 rooms.
