Kharkiv Airport resumes regular direct flights to Yerevan

On May 9, 2011 regular flights between Kharkiv and the capital of Armenia will be resumed. Such agreement was signed between the New Systems AM (operator of International Airport "Kharkiv") and "The airline Armavia (the largest airline in Armenia). 

Regular flights Yerevan - Kharkiv - Yerevan will be implemented with a frequency of 1 time per week - on Mondays. The flight will be carried on aircrafts such as Bombardier CRJ 200, included in the fleet of the company Armavia.

"The flight to Yerevan was always popular in Kharkiv. This fact influenced the decision to resume direct service between the cities. In only 2 hours Slobozhanshchina citizens will be able to get to the pearl of the Caucasus - the ancient city, which, despite its long history, continues to live in step with the times", - says General Manager of the New Systems AM Volodymyr Vasylchenko.

As previously reported, geographic expansion of direct air service to the International Airport "Kharkiv" is being held as part of program of development of Slobozhanshchina air gates. This program allows to implement the planned by of the investor and coordinator of the object Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi course to expand flights between Kharkiv, on the one hand, and the most popular among Kharkiv citizens resorts and key European cities, on the other. In accordance with the program this summer regular flights between Prague and Kharkiv, as well as between Kharkiv and Dubai will be launched.
