Company "New Systems AM" (Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi`s DCH Group), an operator of the International airport "Kharkiv", has reached agreements with the Czech company CSA (Czech Airlines) on the opening of direct flights between Prague and Kharkiv. Regular flights between the cities will be implemented from June 3 this year, and tickets can be now bought in all ticket reservation systems.
"Flights will be serviced by aircrafts such as Boeing 737, belonging to the fleet of the company CSA. The flight will give Kharkiv citizens the opportunity to comfortably get to most major cities of Europe and in less time, thanks to the convenient hours and fast docking", - said Volodymyr Vasylchenko, CEO of New Systems AM.
The parties promise to take a responsible approach to the issues of tariff, so that ticket prices were affordable to the average Kharkiv citizen. "With advance purchase airline ticket from Kharkiv to Prague, its value will not be much higher than the ticket price for land transport - train or bus. At the same time, one will spend only about two hours on the road"- said Volodymyr Vasylchenko.
Thanks to the new flight Kharkiv will be linked by CSA (Czech Airlines) flights with the cities of Sweden, Italy, Spain, Germany, Baltic and Scandinavian countries. In addition, management plans for Kharkiv airport to gradually increase the number of cities in Europe, with which Kharkiv would be connected by direct flights.
As already reported, in the summer of 2012 IA Kharkiv will take thousands of passengers from Europe to arrive in Ukraine to participate in the matches of the continental football championship. Accordingly, the opening of the flight "Kharkiv -Prague" will provide additional comfort to not only to Kharkiv citizen, but also to fans of Euro 2012.
