International Airport Kharkiv launches the direct flights to the UAE

Regular flights between Kharkiv and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be launched before the end of this year. New Systems AM (operator of International Airport "Kharkiv", a member of Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi`s DCH Group) completes the negotiation process with the two largest air carriers in the Middle East on the organization of the new flights:
 
- Air Arabia - a direct flight from Kharkiv to Sharjah (15 km from Dubai) 
- FlyDubai - a direct flight on the route Kharkiv -Dubai.
 
Both flights will be scheduled. For its flights Air Arabia will be using the aircraft Airbus A-320, and FlyDubai - Boeing 737-800NJ. According to preliminary data, a direct flight from Kharkiv in the UAE will take about 4.5 hours.
 
Air carriers with whom the International Airport "Kharkiv" starts cooperation have a broad geography of flights. Air Arabia provides coverage of regions of India (with its famous resorts of Goa, Kerala, Kolkata, Cauchy, Trivandrum), Sri Lanka (Colombo), Tunisia, Nepal, and other popular tourist destinations in North Africa, Middle East and India.
 
Network of routes FlyDubai is more focused on the Middle East. The company offers flights to exotic destinations such as Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Djibouti, Nepal, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, etc. Thus, using the services of these carriers, Kharkiv citizens, and residents of neighboring Regions will be able with minimal time and effort to get into the country, which is popular exotic resort and/or prospective business partners in Ukraine, through the UAE.
 
Reached agreements will be brought to life in a short time. The first practical steps in this direction have already been made. So, on April 13 Air Arabia filed an application to the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine for obtaining permission to perform the flights. The carrier plans to obtain such permission before the end of this month, which will begin regular flights to the UAE in June 2011.
 
"The new flights will make it possible not only with the maximum comfort to get to the UAE. In fact, they will open to Kharkiv citizens a shorter way to most countries in the Middle East, North Africa and other regions", - said Volodymyr Vasylchenko, CEO of New Systems AM.
 
Geographical expansion of direct air service for the International Airport "Kharkiv" is a part of development program of Slobozhanshchina air gates. This program allows to implement the promised by the investor and the curator of the object Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi course to expand flights between Kharkiv, on the one hand, and the most popular among Kharkiv citizens resorts and key European cities, on the other. According to the program, this summer will be established as a regular flight between Kharkiv and Prague.
 
As already reported, in the summer of 2012 Kharkiv International Airport will be one of the key facilities of Euro 2012 in Ukraine: in the next year the airport will take thousands of passengers from Europe arriving in Ukraine to participate in the matches of the continental football championship.
