Traditionally, the event was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Poland Andrii Deshchytsia. In his speech, he, in particular, stressed that Ukraine needs to use every opportunity to reach a qualitatively new stage in the development of partnerships and business relations with the EU. Events such as business forum Ukraine: Just business play a significant role in this process. The representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennadiy Boldyr focused the attention of participants on governmental initiatives in sphere of deregulation of the economy: "Regulatory bodies in Ukraine will be reduced by half, the number of control functions will be reduced from 1032 to 680".

But judging from my experience I can say that it did not influence the financial performance of our company. Yes, the staff had to be evacuated, and a few cars were lost. However, it does not have a determining impact".

Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation also noted that, despite all the difficulties of the transition period, opportunities to do business in Ukraine still remain. Maksym Lavrynovych, managing partner of the Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm gave examples of successful legal support of Polish companies in the process of entering the Ukrainian market. And noted that the conditions for registration of new business has now become much more favorable: "If on the primary stage of Ukrainian business this service would cost about 5000 US dollars, now as a result of simplified procedures, it has actually become free and available, and can be proposed by the law firm as a bonus for customers". Olena Derevyanko, Vice President of DCH reminded participants of the forum about the importance of objective information about the situation in Ukraine: "Unfortunately, the media does not always represent the events in our country correctly. Therefore, our task in the forum Ukraine: Just Business, as we see it, is to help foreign entrepreneurs to assess the available business opportunities, and we should also provide first-hand information that will help to avoid mistakes in making investment decisions".

Vladimir Panov, a member of the Supervisory Board of Eurocar and CEO in "Sezparkservis" in the updated (comparing to the previous event) presentation of Solomonovo Industrial Park (Zakarpattia Oblast) stressed that Ukraine has all opportunities for the development of the engineering industry.

The forum participants were interested in the labor market situation of our country, and listened carefully to case-story from the personal experiences of each other regarding investment in Ukraine and Poland.
