"A number of online publications have recently posted the information alleging that the International Airport "Kharkiv" refuses to conduct an audit of the new terminal. This information does not correspond to reality," - said to "SQ" the press service of DCH.
According to the press service of DCH group, as for 6 December, the representatives of central and local authorities have not addressed with requests to conduct such an audit.
"Furthermore, it is known that DCH regularly provides to the authorized state authorities and UEFA all the necessary documents on the project of reconstruction of international airport "Kharkiv". DCH press office also reminds about its readiness to promptly provide to the media the information about the ongoing developments at the airport work and expressed bewilderment as to what the authors of the above informational message had not contacted the press-service of the holding company for confirmation of information" - said in the DCH press-service.
Now the existing airport terminal is being reconstructed in Kharkiv, the negotiations with carriers for the loading capacity of the new terminal are being held, a temporary terminal is being built, said the DCH.

National Agency for Euro-2012 asked the leadership of Kharkiv region to influence the situation.
DCH group represented by "New Systems AM" is the operator of the reconstruction of international airport "Kharkiv" and the investor of reconstruction of the airport complex, which involves the construction of a new terminal, reconstruction of the old one and the station square, construction of a temporary terminal for the time of Euro 2012 matches, infrastructure improvements, purchase of equipment and transport. The total DCH investment (air terminal, station square) - 508.8 mln.
The reconstruction of the airport complex, which includes reconstruction of aprons, runways, installing light signal system, construction of the rescue station, construction of tower, is being financed by the state budget. Kharkiv airport started to build the new runway in July 2010. For the construction of a new runway, as well as for the reconstruction of the airfield complex state should allocate UAH 1 billion 86 mln.
The new terminal of international airport "Kharkiv" was solemnly opened on August 28, 2010. Terminal is designed for 650 passengers per hour. After a complete reconstruction, the airport will be able to take a variety of aircrafts, including aircraft types "Airbus A-320" and "Boeing B-737.
