Euro-2012 projects, which were mainly funded by the investor in Kharkiv`s preparation Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi, provided 91% of revenues of "first capital" city budget from land sales.
This was told by Sergiy Nagorny, head of Research department of Association of Undertakers-parties of Euro 2012 preparation.
"In the report Kharkiv budget performance of 2010 was indicated that the income to the city treasury from the sale of land last year amounted to 40.4 mln. Moreover, according to our calculations, 36.56 mln. (91%) were obtained by the city budget through the sale of lands to the main Kharkiv investor for the construction of the Euro-2012 Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi. We are talking about projects such as Kharkiv Palace hotel, as well as about the sports infrastructure of the city", - said Sergei Nagorny.
According to official statistics, total revenues in the consolidated budget of Kharkiv for 2010 were 3248 mln., including revenues of the general fund - 2026.1 mln. (62,4%), special fund - 270.9 mln. (8,3%), received transfers from the state and regional budgets - 951 mln. (29,3%). Comparing with 2009 the size of financial resources of the city's budget has increased by 435.3 mln. (15,5%), including revenues of the general fund - to 149.4 mln. (by 8,0%), special fund - to 32 mln. (by 13,4%), transfers - at 253.9 mln. (1,4 times).
