DCH began designing the bus station, which is planned to be built on the square in front of the International Airport "Kharkiv". This object deputy prime minister for Euro-2012 Boris Kolesnikov instructed to build Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy - general investor and coordinator of Kharkiv preparationfor the tournament.
As the LigaBusinessInform reported, the press service of the company told that the construction of the bus station near the International airport "Kharkiv" is an element of the concept of route network on which the passenger can comfortably get to the airport, not only by taxi or private car, but also on public transport. For the convenience of passengers the bus station in Kharkiv airport will be built directly on the forecourt in front of airport complex.
It is reported that the architect of the building is LLC "NII Harkovproekt" - an institute that drafts projects of the detailed city master plan. General requirements for comfort and safety and UEFA requirements relating to transport between the airport and the Metalist stadium will be considered when drafting the new bus station.
Earlier, after detailed consideration of Ukraine's achievements in preparing for Euro 2012, UEFA Supervisory Board decided to approve the right to hold European Football Championship in 2012 in all four Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv.
