On Monday, November 21 FC Metalist (Kharkiv) training ground, visited the sports director of the Football Federation of Portugal, Carlos Godinho with an inspection, the Portuguese media have reported.
Metalist training ground is regarded by FPF as one of the two main options for the accommodation of the team during the finals of the UEFA European Football Championship 2012 in Ukraine and Poland. An alternative to the Kharkiv complex is a Polish ground in the town Opalenica.
The Portuguese functionaries will make the final choice regarding the location of the main team of the country at Euro 2012 after the draw on December 2. At the same time, the possible booking of FC "Metalist" training ground will also depend on agreements with the Swedish Football Association, who also claims to have the object.
