The International Airport "Kharkiv" installed the jet bridges. They started to work on Friday, June 8, 2012. One of the first to evaluate the new equipment were the passengers of the Austrian Airlines, who arrived to the capital of Slobozhanshchina on the aircraft Airbus A-319.
As previously reported, two tunnel jet bridges have been bought by the airport from the world's leading producer – a Spanish company ThyssenKrupp Airport Systems. The bridges are installed on the gates G1 and G4 and can be used for passenger service of both domestic and international flights.
"The jet ways allow passengers to reach the plane board quickly and comfortably from the terminal without going into the street. Their purchase and installation – this is another step of our company on the way to improve the technical support of the airport complex of the International airport "Kharkiv", which we carry out all the time. I am confident that our passengers will appreciate the benefits that the use of the Kharkiv airport services provides them", - emphasized Vladimir Vasilchenko, the General Director of the "New Systems AM" (the operating company of the International Airport "Kharkiv", a part of the DCH group of Aleksander Yaroslavskiy).
