Ukraine will receive four modern international airports this year - early next year. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov.
"Donetsk, Boryspil, Lviv are practically ready: buildings were completed – there`re installation, mounting of the equipment, finishing works," - noted the official during the final press conference after the first six months of work.
At the same time Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to a private investor Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi for his personal contribution to the development of passenger services, on his money was built the terminal at the Kharkiv airport.
As previously reported, Donetsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv received the right to host matches of the football European Championship in 2012.
Earlier, Kolesnikov said that the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Ministry of Russia are working on the introduction of high-speed traffic, which will cover the distance between the capitals of Ukraine and Russia for 4-4.5 h
