On Saturday President Victor Yanukovych opened the first in the country constructed to Euro-2012 avia object, - the new terminal of the Kharkiv international airport. From now on it can take to 2 million passengers. From the morning, in the square in front of the airport people gather. Harmonously, in columns, with flags they stand behind the fence. To President`s visit here the roads have been blocked, portraits have been hanged out on buildings. They haven`t only mastered a wind. It breaks flags from flagstaffs and brings a smoke. For two and a half hours of expectation it has vanished.
Opening of the new terminal - event of the state scale. In 2012 when football fans will gather in Kharkiv, it can accept two million passengers. It is six times more, than now. To Euro 2012 in the airport three terminals will work - the new one, an old one, renovated for the VIP-persons and temporary one. It remains only to complete the construction of a runway - it is ready for a quarter. The state allocated billion for its construction.
It was promised to finish the runway till next summer.
