Kharkiv airport is negotiating about opening new routes to Europe and Asia

Kharkiv International Airport is negotiating about opening new air routes to Europe and Asia.

This was announced today during an online conference at avianews.com by Deputy Director of Strategic Development Ltd. "New Systems AM" – the operator of the International Airport "Kharkiv" Vitaliy Nedashkovskyy.

"At this moment we`re negotiating with the Czech Airlines (CSA) regarding the opening of the route to Prague and with the company Air Arabia about flights to Sharjah. I think early next year, these two routs will begin to work", - said V. Nedashkovskyy.

He added that there are plans to expand the European direction. "It is likely that Munich, Milan, Paris and London will be added to Vienna" - he said.

According to V. Nedashkovskyy, the development of the airport "Kharkiv", the reconstruction of which for Euro-2012 is provided by Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy`s DCH group, will in the next 5-10 years increase the volume of civil aviation to 1-2 million passengers a year.

UNIAN info. Kharkiv International Airport is one of the most important objects, which are reconstructed for Euro 2012. The project started after 1 April 2008 the company "New Systems AM" (DCH group, president - Ukrainian businessman, investor and general coordinator of Kharkiv's preparations for Euro 2012 Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy) won the tender for the lease of the integral property complex of the Kharkiv airport.

The reconstruction project includes the construction of the new terminal, reconstruction of the old (historic) one, construction of a new runway and apron repair, improvement of the station square. After completing the reconstruction Kharkiv the airport will be able to take a variety of aircrafts like the aircraft type Airbus A-320 and Boeing B-737.

The International Airport "Kharkiv" provides an international flight service with the airports of 10 countries in Europe and Asia.
