The International airport "Kharkiv" and the airline Georgian Airways are expanding their cooperation providing the residents of Slobozhanshchina more possibilities to travel to the cities of Georgia.
Thus, the number of the direct flights on the route Tbilisi-Kharkiv-Tbilisi has been increased already in April. The flights are carried out three times a week: on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The traveling time is less than two hours.
Since June the flights on the route Batumi-Kharkov- Batumi that were working last summer in a test mode will be resumed. The flight will be carried out once a week - on Thursday. The traveling time is about one and a half hour.
The flights of Georgian Airways company will be serviced by the aircrafts Bombardier CRJ-200 (Canadian Regional Jet) designed for the regional flights. The capacity of the aircraft is 50 seats, all the seats are designed for economy class passengers.

Of course our goal is to meet the growing demand. The reconstruction of the International airport "Kharkiv" is being held in the format of the private-state partnership. The total investment in the project by Aleksander Yaroslavskiy is $ 107.2 million (the airport complex and the surrounding area). The amount of funding allocated from the State budget for the reconstruction of the airport complex (including the construction of the airfield control tower) is $ 191.3 million.
