DCH will also build a temporary terminal in Kharkiv

Group of сompanies Development construction holdings (DCH), controlled by businessman Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy, intends to build another temporary terminal for guests who come to football matches by the time for the football championship Euro-2012.

 

According to A. Yaroslavskyy, who talked to reporters on Saturday in Kharkiv, the temporary terminal will probably be further redeveloped into the cargo one. The businessman did not tell the cost of its construction, as well as about the designed capacity.

 

DCH also intends to remodel the old terminal at the airport after the new one will be running. According to Mr. Yaroslavskyy, it will be happening for 1,5-2 months. The old terminal after the reconstruction will be used to receive VIP-passengers. The cost of the reconstruction is also not specified.

 

The businessman said that the cost of the new terminal which was opened on August 28, was approximately 80 million dollars, of which about 45 million dollars were adopted, and its payback period is about 15-17 years. The capacity of the new terminal is 650 passengers per hour, but it can increase to 1,5 thousand people per hour at peak times.

 

A. Yaroslavskyy also noted that in the current year from the state budget for the construction of the runway at the Kharkiv airport it has been allocated UAH 250 million. The total cost of the runway, he said, is 137 million dollars.
