Construction of Kharkiv Palace: 90% utilities done

Construction of the five star hotel Kharkiv Palace is going ahead of schedule. Currently 90% of utilities are ready in the building, escalators are installed, elevators are being installed. In early October, the builders plan to install heating in the hotel, so that during cold weather operation continued in the usual mode.

To date, construction works on the roof and the masonry were completed. Currently there are finishing works, builders expect the supply of materials from factories for finishing options. They set the window glass in high-rise part of the structure.

In addition, work has also taken place inside the building. In the room fund they continue laying tile in bathrooms and puttying walls is close to completion. In the two-storey part of the building - the area of common use - going works on installation of ceilings on the first and on the second floors. According to the draft, they will contain a large number of architectural elements, and therefore require hard work. Builders are going to start guarding the atrium. In the high-altitude part it will be separated from the hall of room fund by double glass with thickness 10 mm. Glass and stainless steel canopy will be made and the main entrance to Kharkiv Palace, which will be located at the intersection of Pravdy avenue and Trinklera Street. Steel construction has been installed, they now wait for delivery of the stainless steel.

Also the installation of lifting equipment is continuing. The project includes 12 lifts, including three panoramic and one escalator. To date, almost all of the equipment is at the facility, with the exception of three elevators, which will arrive in the next two weeks.

Work in the area around the hotel were 85% done. Builders plan to complete them before September 10.

All contractors work at full capacity ahead of schedule. Accordingly, the builders will be able to fulfill the promise given by the investor of Kharkiv Palace Aleksander Yaroslavskiy, regarding commissioning on December 5 this year, nearly six months ahead of schedule.
