Builders completed the installation of parapets and facades in the temporary terminal of International Airport "Kharkiv". Now there is going the process of preparing to internal works. 63 builders and 6 units work on site. In general, by July 1, 67% of the approved scope of work was completed. There are all reasons to predict preterm delivery of the object (according to the schedule, it must be in April 2012). As previously reported, the construction of a temporary terminal is carried out within the framework of the Complex Program of Kharkiv's preparations for Euro 2012, developed by DCH group of companies. The owner of the holding Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi, investor and general coordinator of the city's preparation for the tournament, has already financed 95% of the planned volume of funds for construction of the facility.
The plan also includes the restoration of the old terminal. Builders do facade and interior work, which involved 45 people, and 5 units of construction equipment. As previously reported, the historic building built in 50s will be used as VIP-terminal, and during the Euro 2012 they will be used by passengers of UEFA focus groups (the so-called 'UEFA family').
Works on the construction of air-traffic control tower continue. As of July 1, workers performed about 60% of the foundation works and have started construction works. 38 people and 11 vehicles work at the site. Construction of a new runway is also in accordance with the approved schedule. Currently about 67% of planned work were performed. The volume of work performed on installing the runway is 2300 m. The construction of the main taxiway continues, 200 m have already been laid of the coverage. 163 workers and 107 vehicles were involved on site.
