Alexander Yaroslavsky: "I am pleased with the results of "Caravan"

According to the newspaper, President of DCH "can be regarded as a kind of marker of behavior on the market". "Indeed, Yaroslavsky has a special business flair. His projects are successful. He rarely buys anything expensive, but he sells much at a profit. And always knows when it is time to go out of the game"- writes the newspaper.

On one of the projects was discussed in this interview. Responding to a question about the situation with the SEC "Caravan", co-owner of which he is, Alexander Yaroslavsky said that he is satisfied with the results of their work and is not going to change anything. "I am, as before, own equal shares of the mall with two American funds. Nothing has changed. I am pleased with the results of "Caravan", and funds are happy, too".

Regarding the relations with other shareholders of the SEC "Caravan", Yaroslavsky noted that they remain confidential in the current economic crisis in the country, "Operational activities are on me. This is a traditional form of communication with portfolio investors, and it has not changed. These funds are not afraid of the situation in the country, because they know who they are dealing with, and that they communicate with a specific person."

Credit history of the company also develops favorably. On the background of general decline in the solvency of companies and developing problems with creditor banks, SEC "Caravan" has full control of the situation. Alexander Yaroslavsky: "We always pay our bills. We have restructured loans and pay obligations. We have good relations with the banks."

Businessman also claimed the possibility of expanding the network. "If there is demand for this development, we will develop shopping centers. It will happen when the market will believe in this direction", - he said.

Reference. Network of shopping centers "Caravan" is composed of three malls located in Kiev, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. The shareholders of the network are Citigroup (US) and Apollo (USA) funds, together with the DCH Group of Alexander Yaroslavsky. The total area - 250 000 sq. m. The network of shopping malls "Caravan" - the first in Ukraine professionally implemented project of shopping and entertainment centers. SEC "Caravan" is unique in its own set of tenants gathered here, most famous and popular brands in various formats, represented in Ukraine. Also broad food court area is present in the mall. Since 2013,  SEC "Caravan" is a part of a portfolio of assets of DCH. Network Management Company of SEC "Caravan" is CDA Real Estate (working in DCH group). In 2014, CDA Real Estate completed and put into operation a new unit of SEC "Caravan" in Dnepropetrovsk, the total area of which is 10,000 m2. Thus, the shopping center has reached super-regional format, the largest in the city and one of the largest in Ukraine, with a total area of about 100 thousand m2.
