Sales of "Ukrainian mining company", holding company controlled by DCH group, for four months increased by 38%.

Gradual recovery of the construction market has increased sales of "Ukrainian Mining Company" (UMK), controlled by businessman Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi Kharkiv. For the first four months of 2010 the demand for the company's products from concrete and asphalt plants in Ukraine increased markedly. As a result, sales increased by 38% compared to the same period last year. So, for four months UMK sold about 315 thousand tons of rubble and 92,2 tons of screenings.

"For the entire 2009 total sales of UMK in monetary terms amounted to UAH 102,1 mln. In 2010, the company plans to sell products worth UAH 143 millions, ensuring growth to that of last year at 40% ", - said UMK General manager, Vitaliy Bash.

According to the top manager in 2009, about 88% of the company's products were sold on the domestic market. Also the company exported part of products to Russia and Moldova in the amount of UAH 12,3 millions. This year UMK plans to export to these countries about 20% of its production to the amount of 28,1 mln.

UMK consolidates non-metallic assets of DCH companies, operates four quarries and five fields in Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhya, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr regions. According to the company's total reserves of rubble extraction are 193.7 million tons in the area of 405 hectares.
