President of DCH group, the general investor and coordinator of Kharkiv preparation for Euro 2012 Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi was called "Kharkiv citizen of the decade" in the category "Leaders of industry and business" following the results of the regional rating project.
This year, the project "Kharkiv citizen of the year" celebrates 10 year anniversary, and therefore its creators got the idea to find out which Kharkiv inhabitants (in the opinion of the citizens themselves) made the most outstanding contribution to the development of the city and the region over the past decade. Winners were determined by means of rating research, the recommendations of authorities, public organizations, institutions, archives, museums, libraries, educational institutions, the survey of experts. To vote for "their" candidate the citizens could also by calling to a hotline and through online voting on the official website of the Institute of rating research.
