Kharkiv Palace 5* Hotel (an asset of Aleksandr Yaroslavskiy’s DCH Group) has submitted an application for participation in Hospitality Awards 2013, the all-Ukrainian award. Hoteliero, hoteliers and restaurateurs club, is the only professional awards given for the achievements in the hospitality field in Ukraine.
Only Ukrainian hotels, which have worked for at least a month at the time of application, are allowed to participate. Under the project’s terms, each hotel can only be represented in two categories of choice. Best Hotel Restaurant category is an exception, in which hotels can compete in addition to the two main categories.
Kharkiv Palace is represented in such categories of Hospitality Awards 2013 as Business Hotel of the Year and Best Hotel Architecture of the Year. In the Business Hotel of the Year category, the participants are evaluated as regards availability of full range of business services, including conference rooms equipped with the latest technological facilities, Wi-Fi, lounge areas, etc., as well as furnishing and design of rooms, location, infrastructure, and, finally, service quality. As for the Best Hotel Architecture of the Year category, the main evaluation criteria are, notwithstanding its name, not so much the architecture peculiarities of the hotels-nominees as the integrity of the image and interrelation of a hotel’s exterior and its atmosphere.
Besides that, Kharkiv Palace’s Terrasa Restaurant is separately nominated for the Salt Awards, a professional award based on opinion of experts and consumers, as the restaurant with the best wine list. The winners will be announced on November 8, 2013.
We remind you that Kharkiv Palace, one of the luxurious Premier Hotels, was built in the framework of preparation for EURO-2012 as one of the key infrastructure objects, i.e. headquarters of UEFA in Kharkiv for the time of the tournament. The construction began in 2010; the opening ceremony took place at the end of 2011. The total value of investments made by Aleksandr Yaroslavskiy into the project’s realization amounted to $ 126 million. The hotel is run by Premier International hotel management company.
