Kharkiv International Airport Increases the Amount of Complimentary Transfers in Spring-Summer Season

On the threshold of summer season Kharkiv International Airport continues to extend its offer in terms of complimentary transfers and increases their frequency.

At the moment there is an offer for the residents of Belgorod, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava. In the nearest future Sumy should be added to the list. The transfers to Kharkiv Airport (to Terminal A) will depart from Ukraine Hotel (1 Voskresenska Str) from the 30th of March to the 1st of June on Tuesdays and Fridays, from the 1st of June to the 26th of October 2014 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The time of departure shall be available on the website of the airport: http://hrk.aero/passazhiram/servisy-aehroporta/transfer/ or by phone at (+38057) 766-44-26, 728-32-84, (+38067) 575-63-73. For ticket booking in Sumy and Sumy Region the airport office in the region should be contacted at (+38067) 964-78-14,  (+38050) 857-07-80.

From the 30th of March till the 1st of June 2014 complimentary transfers from the abovementioned cities shall be carried out according to the new schedule with the reduced list of routes (available on the website of Kharkiv International Airport). Starting from June though, the expanded network of routes shall be valid. For the passengers’ convenience not only day, but night transfers shall be available. Kharkiv International Airport (http://hrk.aero/) – is one of the key locations in Sloboda Ukraine that was reconstructed within the framework of preparation to the finals of the 2012 UEFA European Championship. This large scale project kicked off on the 1st of April 2008 when New Systems AM company (a part of DCH Group, owned by a well known Ukrainian businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, the general investor and coordinator of Kharkiv’s preparation to EURO-2012, former president of FC Metalist in 2005-2012) won a tender for long-term rent of the entire spaces of Kharkiv Airport.

The reconstruction of Kharkiv International Airport was carried out as a private and state partnership. The total sum of Oleksandr Yaroslavsky’s investment into the project equals $ 107.2 million (the air terminal and surrounding territories). Investment into the reconstruction of the air terminal from the state budget equals $ 191.3 million.
