Due to the attacks in "Domodedovo" with decision of Deputy Transport Minister - Chairman of the State Aviation Administration at airports in Ukraine, including "International Airport Kharkiv", there is the status of heightened threat, according to which the complex of additional measures to improve the safety of passengers, aircraft, airport facilities is being taken. These actions are implemented in cooperation with the airport police.
As deputy general director of the Aviation Security LLC of New Systems AM (DCH group, president-Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi) Sergiy Makotseba, such additional security measures in "International Airport Kharkiv" are being taken:
• More careful patrolling of the terminals;
• The security of aircraft, airport navigation facilities is improved;
• The access to other air terminals is limited;
• A check of the documents confirming the identity of terminals` visitors;
• The intensity of monitoring the safety of passengers, crew, their carry-on baggage and baggage and cargo departing from the airport rose.
• There is a set of special administrative and technical measures aimed at improving the safety of passengers.
