HRSA and DCH are preparing the ground for investments in Kharkov region

July 9, 2015 in Kharkov Regional State Administration was held a press conference devoted particularly to the forthcoming forum AGROPORT-2015, which will take place 15-17 October this year. As previously reported, this is the only Ukrainian agro-event included in the calendar of the UN, and it is held within the framework of the "Year of the soil", declared by the United Nations. Forum will take place at the International Airport "Kharkov", building investor and the operator of which is the DCH Group of Alexander Yaroslavsky.

The event was attended by Mark Becker, deputy chairman of HRSA, Elena Derevianko, vice president of DCH, the director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry - NAAS academician Svyatoslav Bolyuk, CEO of PJSC "Kharkov tractor plant" - Vladislav Gubin.
Mark Becker said: "Kharkov region is open, accessible and safe for investors. AGROPORT is a witness to this. We invite everyone to participate, so that we could raise the economy of Kharkov region to a new level."

Elena Derevyanko, in turn, described the project AGROROPT as a good example of "right public-private partnership, within which regional authorities, investors, industry and science are working together, achieving positive synergies." She also focused attention of the audience on the fact that AGROROPT is a part of a comprehensive program, conducted by DCH, to attract foreign investors to the Ukrainian economy in general and, to the economy of the Kharkov region in particular. "This direction is a priority for us today, and Alexander Vladilenovich pays particular attention to it. To this end, in spring 2015 was launched the program “Ukraine: Just business”, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. In the framework of the program were already conducted business Forums in three European countries, and furthermore, another five European and Middle Eastern countries are in the waiting list. We consider AGROPORT not just as a large-scale event for the development of entrepreneurship in the agro-industrial complex of the Kharkov region, but also as a driver of increasing the investment attractiveness of the region on a global scale. In fact, in the framework of the "Year of the soil," we are preparing the ground for investment ".

Vladislav Gubin also thanked Kharkov regional administration for the support and confirmed that "when the new team came to regional state administration, there appeared the synergy that we lacked during the forum last year." He stressed that AGROROPT is "not just a forum, and not an ENEA. It should be the same platform as Hannover, the main sense of which is a discussion of innovations, for the development of which new investment resources are attracted.
