From September, 30 2012 International airport “Kharkov” introduces the direct flight to the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica. The flights operated by UIA will be regular. Aircraft types – AN-148 and Boeing 737.
Vladimir Vasilchenko, CEO of New Systems AM (the operator company of International Airport “Kharkov” belongs to DCH group headed by Alexander Yaroslavsky) told: “ Due to such flights passengers of International airport “Kharkov” will be able to enjoy their holiday at the Adriatic seaside during the whole autumn-winter period without visa, and also to estimate the level of European ski resorts of Montenegro”.
Flights to Podgorica are operated in cooperation with the tour operator “Kharkovkurort-service” (“Kharkovresort-service” – http://xkc.com.ua/). Everyone who wishes to admire Adriatic beauty can buy tickets both at the offices of tour operator (or his partners) and on the site of UIA.

Reconstruction of the International Airport “Kharkov” is in the format of public-private partnership. The total investment in the project by Alexander Yaroslavsky was $ 107.2 million (airport terminal and surrounding areas). The amount of funding allocated from the State budget for the reconstruction of the airport complex (including construction and airfield control tower) – $ 191.3 million.
