On December 10, 2008, the results of the First City Business Plan Competition Plans organized by Entrepreneurship, Investment and Consumer Markets Administration of the Kharkiv City Council together with the Business Expert consulting company were announced. DCH Group was the general sponsor of the competition. The competitors publicly defended their plans before the expert jury which included a DCH representative.
The special prize of DCH was given to the author of the business plan ‘Development of the First Municipal Multilevel Parking Garage’ as a project contributing to the preparation of Kharkiv for Euro-2012 and helping to solve the parking problems. Being the key investor of the preparation works, DCH plans to invest about 7 mln into development of transport, social and sports infrastructure of the city. Therefore the key criterion for the business plan to be awarded was its compliance with the global targets of the city development in terms of the future European Football Championship.
