Aeroflot will start regular flights from Moscow to Kharkiv. The airline "Aeroflot" (Russia) may start regular flights to the international airport "Kharkiv" by the end of 2011 - early 2012, reported CEO of "New Systems AM" Volodymyr Vasylchenko (since 2008 the company manages the airport) informed the portal "Avianews.com". It is planned that a new route will open from the airport "Sheremetyevo" (Moscow).
According to V. Vasylchenko, as soon as the reconstruction of the Kharkiv airport terminal ends, there will open new routes, particularly to Warsaw and some of the cities of Italy. On flights to the Appenine peninsula the airport is negotiating with "Lufthansa Italia".
V. Vasylchenko also said that the Czech airline "Czech Airlines", which refused to fly to Kharkiv in June 2011, postponed an opening of the flight "Prague- Kharkiv" for after the New Year.
