From marketplace to ecosystem: Kasta presents rebranding, a new development strategy, and its own banking services

Kasta has announced a rebranding and transformation from a multi-category marketplace to an ecosystem of daily benefits. The ecosystem has been implemented as a multifunctional application (SuperApp), combining a marketplace familiar to users and its own banking services set up in collaboration with Bank Credit Dnipro and Visa.

To cement their positions, Bank Credit Dnipro and the Kasta marketplace are initiating a long-term partnership, creating the innovative SuperApp as a first step. This is a strategic move that offers synergistic use of audiences, technologies and financial instruments, providing new opportunities for both individuals and businesses.

Suppliers of goods may approach the Kasta SuperApp as an operating system for growth, since the ecosystem would scale up the business of everyone connected to it. At the same time, the process of selecting and buying becomes even faster, more convenient and more profitable for customers thanks to Visa and Kasta Visa Card. Thus, there is always a win-win-win to be found in the “partners — customers — Kasta” triangle.

Kasta Visa Card is a full-fledged bank card available for opening in the Kasta app and offering:

  • Up to 30% additional discount on Kasta products.
  • Up to 20% cashback on purchases made outside of Kasta.
  • Up to UAH100,000 credit limit for purchases.
  • Instant refunds.
  • Free opening, maintenance, and topping up.

Kasta was rebranded into the “ecosystem of daily benefits” following the research into the Ukrainian retail and banking markets. Benefits imply not only discounts, but also time savings, effort savings, simplicity and “seamlessness” of the service, a single space that integrates everything.

The new slogan of Kasta’s Ecosystem of Daily Benefits is “Always More”. In the marketplace context, this means an increase in the number of categories and unique products, in the banking context — more access to money (payment cards and BNPL), more flexibility (business environment), more financial benefits (cashbacks, bonuses, personal offers), faster transactions, and more opportunities to scale up (lending).

In addition to the rebranding and the new slogan, Kasta has also been restyling visually. Creative agency Banda is behind the company’s rebranding and redesign.

“We’ve developed this brand as an ecosystem of benefits. ‘Always More’ is not just a slogan; it is a philosophy of moving forward: more benefits, more control, more opportunities for everyone. The ‘beta-carotene’ colour in the focus of the new brand is the colour of energy, determination, and the desire to live life to the fullest. Meanwhile, the plus sign in the logo is not about maths. It’s about everything being interconnected within the Kasta ecosystem: shopping, banking, delivery. It’s about not choosing ‘either/or’, but getting ‘more, and more, and more’ here. We wanted the brand itself to become a gesture of support — simple, powerful and clear,” points out Ivan Filippov, Banda’s Strategy Director.

It is worth noting that in 2024–2025, the company moved away from the concept of being merely a fashion marketplace by striking partnerships with market leaders across various categories, such as Foxtrot (home appliances and electronics), E-ZOO (pet products), Pampik (children’s goods), and Intertop (clothes, footwear and accessories).
