ORANTA Insurance Company

ORANTA is one of the oldest insurance companies in Ukraine. It was established in 1921 as Ukrderzhstrakh, which was transformed into ORANTA National Joint-Stock Insurance Company. The State Property Fund of Ukraine was the founder of the company on the part of the State. ORANTA has been a full member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU) since 1994, and a member of the Nuclear Insurance Pool since 2003. Ukrainian business group DCH is the company’s main shareholder.

ORANTA is licensed for 16 categories of insurance and employs over 3,000 experts rendering full cycle services: both retail and corporate insurance. The company has been consistently holding the leading positions as to insurance premium indexes of Mandatory Insurance of Civil Liability of Motor Vehicle Owners. More than 2.5 mln customers are annually insured by ORANTA.

The insurance company complies with all financial standards, namely: solvency and capital adequacy, transaction exposure, and quality of assets. The amount of eligible assets (UAH 1.428 bln) exceeds the standard by UAH 148 mln. The eligible assets in conformity with the criteria of liquidity, profitability, quality, and diversification requirements exceed the insurance reserve amount by more than UAH 397 mln. As to the quality of assets, their amount exceeds the standard by more than UAH 657 mln.

The company operates within the acting laws of Ukraine, in conformity with all regulatory requirements and standards providing for transparency and responsibility to the clients and partners. As a part of DCH Group, ORANTA has access to substantial resources and expert potential, which enables it to offer innovative and competitive insurance products. The company is actively developing, implementing modern technologies and approaches to insurance, which makes it one among market leaders.

The insurance coverages paid by ORANTA in 2024 increased by 22% and amounted to over UAH 468 mln. The company received a number of professional awards: took the second place in automobile liability insurance (policies of the Mandatory Insurance of Civil Liability of Motor Vehicle Owners) according to DeloUA Rating and TOP100 Publisher, and is among top ten largest insurance companies in terms of equity capital, warranty fund, net premiums, and premiums in the segment of voluntary automobile liability insurance according to Insurance TOP Rating for 12 months of 2023. ORANTA received recognition at the 19th All-Ukrainian Competition “Insurance Company 2024”. 

IBI-Rating agency confirmed the company's high financial strength rating at the level of uaAA and creditability at the level of uaA, with the “in development” forecast.
