The National Bank of Ukraine allowed Mr Yaroslavsky to Buy Credit Dnipro Bank

 Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi, a well-known Ukrainian businessman, owner and president of the DCH group,  received a permission from the National Bank of Ukraine to purchase Credit Dnipro Bank from Viktor Pinchuk.  "The NBU granted a permission to Mr Yaroslavskyi, the citizen of Ukraine, on a direct acquisition of a substantial participation in the amount of 100% of the authorized capital of JSC "Credit Dnipro" Bank" .  The corresponding decision was made on July 30, 2020 by the Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Banks' Activities, Supervision (oversight) of the NBU payment systems," the statement published on the National Bank's website says. https://bank.gov.ua/ua/news/all/natsionalniy-bank-pogodiv-nabuttya-istotnoyi-uchasti-v-at-bank-credit-dnipro

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine gave its consent to Mr Yaroslavskyi to purchase shares of Credit Dnipro Bank in April 2020, after the businessman submitted a package of required documents to the National Bank of Ukraine to agree on the transaction.

“This is a bank for business: lending, earning, building, and strengthening.  We will try to quickly move from 18-20 places to the top five,” the owner of the DCH recently told about his bank development strategy in an interview for Forbes.

Aleksandr Yaroslavskyi is included in the TOP-10 Ukrainian businessmen according to the Forbes-2020 rating.  The investment portfolio of his DCH group (www.dch.ua) includes assets in such sectors as finance, industry, transport, development, etc. Also, he is known in the banking sector for creating one of the largest systemic Ukrainian banks, UkrSibbank, from scratch, and  then successfully sold it to the international financial group BNP Paribas.
