On 15-17 October 2015 II International agricultural forum on farming development AGROPORT will be held in Kharkiv. This is one of the largest communication programs in agricultural branch in Eastern Europe and say the least of it a unique project for Ukraine. Also AGROPORT is the only national specialized event in 2015 and it was included to the world calendar FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations).
AGROPORT-2015 will be held again in the aviation hangar of Kharkiv International Airport (DCH group headed by Alexandr Yaroslavsky). Participants of the previous forum duly appreciated infrastructure and technical potential of Slobozhanshchina air gates. In turn the airport management doesn’t keep close its interest in cooperation with national and foreign agrarians. Moreover after the large reconstruction before Euro-2012 (the main investor is Alexandr Yaroslavsky) the airport has a wide range of technical capacity and services of European level.

Last year at the forum different variants of cooperation between the airport and agrobusiness representatives were discussed. Among them – perspectives of usage of business aviation in agriculture, airport infrastructure segments for agricultural goods service and holding of large events etc.
This year the forum organized under the aegis of the UN will be dedicated to International year of soils. Ukraine is famous for its black soil, that’s why this topic is very actual for our country. Comparing with the previous year, this year we expect more than 300 companies representing agricultural complex for all over the world.
Guests of the forum can share their experience and also learn possibilities and investment prospects of Ukrainian agrarian sector. It’s well-known that 30% of European black soil is concentrated in our country. Together they can feed more than 300 million people, that exceeds the whole population of Western Europe by half (according to UN regional classification).
This is not the only thing to surprise participants. Among traditional thematic exhibitions, exposition of farm machinery, specialized conferences and round-table discussions there will be tet-a-tet meetings which will allow farmers, suppliers and retail representatives to make a perspective deals at the forum.

Background
I International forum AGROPORT held on 16-18 October 2014 consisted of 7 large branch events. More than 90 companies from 6 countries took part in it and there were about 60 reporters. The forum was covered in more than 30 printed publications and more than 100 on-line mass media.
Kharkiv tractor plant named after S. Ordzhonikidze JSC is the only enterprise in the former Soviet Union that produces both wheel and caterpillar vehicles. The plant consists of 300 Ukrainian enterprises and organizations. The quantity of workers producing commercial tractors is about 90000 people that is 5% from all industry workers of Ukraine. Gross floor area of the plant is 2900 square meters. Tractors of Kharkiv tractor plant are famous all over the world and supplied to the markets of 4 continents. In last years investments were attracted and it allowed to improve technological processes, create new products and modernize existing line of tractors.
Kharkiv International Airport (http://hrk.aero/) – one of the key objects of Slobozhanshchina capital, reconstructed in preparation for the finals of European Football Championship in 2012. Sizes of a new runway are 2500 х 45 m. Start of large-scale project was given on April 1, 2008, when New Systems AM LLC (a group of DCH, the owner – a well-known Ukrainian businessman, investor and general coordinator of Kharkiv’s preparations for Euro 2012, in 2005-2012 – the president of FC Metalist Alexander Yaroslavsky) won the competition for a long-term rent of the integral property complex of Kharkiv airport.
Reconstruction of International airport “Kharkiv” was made in the format of public-private partnership. The total investment to the project made by Alexander Yaroslavsky was $ 107.2 million (airport terminal and surrounding areas). The amount of funding allocated from the State budget for the reconstruction of the airport complex (including construction and airfield control tower) – $ 191.3 million.
