UkrSibbank" got the third place

<P>JSCIB UkrSibbank (full title - Joint-Stock Commercial Innovation Bank "UkrSibbank") is the third of the largest banks in Ukraine according to the NBU classification. <BR>"UkrSibbank" has more than 1000 branches and provides its services to people in 183 cities. Number of individuals' accounts of clients JSCIB UkrSibbank exceeds 3 million, and legal - 69 thousand. </P> <P>According to NBU, the largest shareholders are BNP Paribas (51%) and the Ukrainian metallurgical company (39.5%). The ultimate owners of the Ukrainian metallurgical companies are Aleksandr Yaroslavskyyy and Ernest Galiev.<BR>BNP Paribas Group is represented in 85 countries. Total group assets exceed $ 2.5 trillions (2nd place in the world after Royal Bank of Scotland). BNP Paribas profit for 2008 amounted to about 3 billions euro. </P> <P>Title JSCIB UkrSibbank is familiar to Ukrainians since 1992 - this year the bank has not only began to work with individuals, but was also renamed in connection with joining the Ukrainian-Siberian Corporation «UkrSibinkor». Until this year JSCIB «UkrSibbank» was called JSCIB «Harkovinkombank» and was registered in the USSR State Bank in 1990 and, accordingly, the National Bank of Ukraine in 1991. <BR>Since 1998, Kharkiv "UkrSibbank" has gotten to a new level and began the settlement service of municipal budgets, and in 2001 successfully accommodates the corporate bonds of JSC "Kyivstar GSM". </P> <P>UkrSibbank is Kyivstar`s servicing bank till now. Four years later, "UkrSibbank", without limiting its business area just by Ukraine, entered the banking market of Russia. </P> <P>In 2005 Hungarian bank OTP Bank Plc. has announced its desire to acquire the shares with "UkrSibbank. However, in April 2006, it was decided to sell 51% of actions to the French "BNP Paribas". This financial group is one of the largest international banking networks, and it is present in more than 85 countries. "BNP Paribas" occupies a leading position in the European banking market, as well as in Asia. </P> <P>As of January, 1, 2009 the largest shareholders of "UkrSibbank" remains the "BNP Paribas" and CJSC "Ukrainian Metallurgical Company (39.49754%), belonging to Kharkiv millionaire Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy. </P> <P>Information:<BR>In 2008 the net profit of UkrSibbank has grown 2,2 times in comparison with the results of 2007 and amounted UAH 427.621 million.
