Ukrainian Mining Company (UMC) is one of the Ukrainian leaders in quarrying granite macadam. It consolidates nonmetallic assets of DCH managing 5 open-cast mines (Sosnovsky, Pervomaysky, Kolomoyevsky, Yantsevsky, and Pekarshchynsky) and 4 deposits (Pervomaysky, Kodyma, Shvayske, Domolochske, and Iskorostenske). The corresponding enterprises are situated in Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Rivne, Zaporizhzhya, and Zhytomyr Regions. All the mines have access to the amenities that make it possible to transport products by road and by rail.

The general loading capacity of quarries amounts to over 150 rail carriages per day. The area of mining allotments is 405.5 ha, while the total reserve recovery amounts to 193.7 m3 of granite.

The company employs over 800 people.
