Dnipropetrovsk Karavan Shopping Centre Wins Another Rating

In 2015, Dnipropetrovsk shopping centre of Karavan corporate chain was recognized as The Best Shopping Centre of Dnipropetrovsk City based on the results of independent rating study of Ukrainian People Award national project. It gained an overwhelming majority of votes of Ukrainian consumers in online poll and significantly outran its numerous competitors.

The best company was traditionally identified on annual People’s Vote all-Ukrainian project in cooperation with iVOX market research company.

A year earlier, Karavan corporate chain was honoured with the highest award of another rating project – Retail Awards. This is a big National Ukrainian award given to the best retail company. This award has several nominations and is given according to the results of independent consumer survey, carried out by TNS – a world’s leading market research company. The surveys use criteria, which are important for consumers: pricing, product assortment/number of tenants, location, convenience, brand awareness, service, loyalty programmes, etc. In 2014, Karavan Shopping Centre won RetailAwards in two categories at one blow: The Best Shopping Centre in Kharkiv and The Best Shopping Centre in Dnipropetrovsk.

Daniil Vladov, Director General of CDARealEstate – a retail corporation which operates a chain of Karavan shopping centres (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk) said: “We get awards and we like it. The awards, which are based on opinions of consumers are valued by us most of all. We consider the recognition from this audience the key indicator of the quality of our work”.

Since 2013, Karavan corporate chain belongs to the asset portfolio of Oleksandr Yaroslavsky’s DCH group, one of the largest and fastest-growing national business groups. American investment funds CitiGroup and Apollo are among the joint shareholders of the chain. Operations management is performed by Oleksandr Yaroslavsky’s managers.

Karavan megastore is one of the first shopping and entertainment chains in Ukraine. The chain has shopping and entertainment centres in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv and Kharkiv with total area of more than 250,000 square meters.
