Kharkiv International Airport to introduce seven new flights in June in cooperation with Dniproavia

Kharkiv International Airport is beginning its cooperation with Dniproavia air company, which will soon result in seven new flights.

Namely, from 10 June 2014 the company will carry out daily flights on Kharkiv-Kyiv(Boryspil airport)-Kharkiv route, and starting from 23 June another daily flight on the Kharkiv-Moscow(Domodedovo airport)-Kharkiv route.

Besides, a number of flights to Georgia are to be opened in June: from 15 June to Tbilisi (departure flights on Sundays) and from 18 June to Batumi (on Wednesdays). The list of new offers will also include Kharkiv-Baku-Kharkiv (from 21 June, departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays) and Kharkiv-Yerevan-Kharkiv (from 26 June on Thursdays) flights. A direct Kharkiv-Varna flight will be introduced from 23 June. It will be carried out on Mondays on a regular basis.

Dniproavia is planning to use modern Embraer 145 jet aircrafts on all of the abovementioned flights.

As for the price, a roundtrip ticket for Kharkiv-Kyiv flight will cost 1185 UAH, Kharkiv-Moscow – 2263 UAH, Kharkiv-Tbilisi – 3188 UAH, Kharkiv-Baku – 4266 UAH, Kharkiv-Yerevan – 3620 UAH, and Kharkiv-Batumi – 4024 UAH. Prices for flying to Bulgarian Varna with a roundtrip ticket will start at 2730 UAH.

“For our air company, it is the first experience of partnership with the Kharkiv airport. Nevertheless, we launch seven flights at once because we are sure of this project’s success. All directions we offer are very popular. Kyiv and Moscow are interesting as business directions, and as for Baku, Batumi, Varna, Yerevan, and Tbilisi – for now these are more of tourist destinations but with a good potential to develop into business flights,” noted Sergey Posylaiev, the Commercial Director at Dniproavia. In his turn, Vladimir Vasilchenko, the Kharkiv International Airport General Director, thanked the Dniproavia management team for such an active start in conditions of deficit of regular passenger flights from Kharkiv: “The beginning of our cooperation looks very promising. I hope our partnership will be successful and just as productive,” he underlined.
