DCH Representatives Participated in the Investors’ Council Affiliated With the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Work Conference

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko held a conference with investing and construction companies regarding road construction and airport rehabilitation at the preparatory phase, and the hosting of the Euro 2012 in the country.

CEO of DCH Aleksandr Yaroslavskуy is a member of the Investors’ Council affiliated with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The conference with the Prime Minister was part of the general process within the regular functions of the Council.

At the meeting with the Prime Minister, the DCH Group was also represented by Volodimir Vasilchenko, Director of New System AM; and Georg Grunberger, CEO of Starbag, Ukraine. The invited officials group also included 18 foreign embassies’ staff from France, Portugal, the US, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Russia, as well as 120 representatives of business entities and funds.

Yulia Timoshenko stated at the opening that in order to conduct the finals of the European Football Cup 2012 in Ukraine in a properly dignified manner, it is necessary to rehabilitate 13 airports and develop road construction.

It was decided during the meeting that the Cabinet of Ministers will present road construction and airport rehabilitation projects to investors. At the same time, the Ministry of Transport and Communications web site will start accommodating and publishing tender bids to undertake said projects.
