Kharkiv International Airport is one of the biggest airports of Ukraine. It was completely reconstructed within the framework of preparing Kharkiv for Euro-2012 in the format of public-private partnership. DCH ensured the construction of the new modern passenger and cargo terminals from scratch, restoration and repurposing of the old historic terminal, and improvement of adjacent territories. Moreover, DCH coordinated the airport construction works and it is currently managing the airport activities as its operator.

The gross floor area of the airport is over 25 thousand sq.m. and its capacity makes up over 1,700 passengers per hour. According to Airport Consulting Vienna, its potential traffic could be up to 4.5 mln people per year.

In 2018, the airport served over 962 thousand passengers. Due to its amenities, Wizz Air, Turkish Airlines, Ryanair, Belavia, Pegasus, МАУ, LOT Polish Airlines, Buta Airways, SkyUp Airlines and many other companies make domestic and international direct flights from Kharkiv.
