North Ore Mining and Processing Plant (SevGOK) is the largest mining company in Europe with a closed loop of preparing raw materials for blast furnaces. Its facilities make it possible to produce 14.2 mln tons of concentrate and about 9 mln tons of pellets. The enterprise’s raw material resource base is ferruginous quartzite deposits that are quarried by the Pervomaisk and the Annovsky mines withtotal commercial reserves being 2.943 mln tons of mineral resources.

When the enterprise was part of Oleksandr Yaroslavsky’s DCH Group of Companies, it managed to recover from the economic crisis in Ukraine and that of the sector as well as to avoid bankruptcy proceedings.

Today, North Ore Mining and Processing Plant PJSC is part of Metinvest Group which acquired the enterprise in 2004.
