When the bank was part of DCH Group of Companies, it grew into a leading national financial institution of Ukraine. The bank’s capital base expanded significantly, its client base broadened and the network of its offices and branches was created throughout the country.

Today, UkrSibbank JSC is part of the BNP Paribas international financial group. It became the bank’s strategic investor with a share of 51% in April 2006. In the history of Ukraine, the deal was the first case of establishing a real partnership between a powerful national group of companies and a mature European business. DCH and BNP Paribas jointly owned the asset during several years. In 2009, the French group’s share was increased to 81,42%. DCH abandoned the project in 2010 when 18.57% of shares belonging to the Group were also sold to BNP Paribas.
