As a Kharkiv resident, I am concerned about the fate of the Kharkiv Aircraft Plant, which is the pride of our city.
Reorganizations and rearrangements alone cannot achieve the real revival of the enterprise. Plans don't fill the belly – the Kharkiv Aircraft Plant team needs wages and guarantees of preserving jobs, regardless of who gives them and how. It means that the plant needs real state support and significant private investment.
DCH Group is ready to take responsibility for the restoration of the flagship of the domestic aircraft industry and to raise $1 billion for the restoration of Kharkiv Aircraft Plant. $100 million will go towards paying off debts; $500 million for the finishing constructing of the aircraft, the manufacturing of which has already begun, and the laying of new ones; $400 million for the improvement programs.
It is not so important whether it is a privatization or public-private partnership. It is essential not to waste time.
