Alexander Yaroslavskiy Acquired a Controlling Stake in PJSC Kharkiv Tractor Plant

On April 27, 2016, Alexander Yaroslavskiy, President and owner of DCH Group has, at the proposal of Austrian businessman Siegfried Wolf, investor in PJSC Kharkiv   Tractor Plant (KTP), acquired a controlling stake in the company.

Siegfried Wolf emphasized in the official statement, as disseminated by his press service, that: “The partnership with Alexander Yaroslavskiy will give new impetus to the plant’s development. We have known each other for a long time, I know him as a man of his word about whom all his business partners, including foreign ones, speak very highly. That is the reason why I turned to him with a proposal to become a shareholder in  KTZ again when my investments in Ukraine were under threat.” http://www.ots.at/presseaussendung/OTE_20160427_OTE0008/ukraines-kharkiv-tractor-plant-announces-changes-in-shareholding-structure

This is how Alexander Yaroslavskiy commented on his new investment: “In the situation that the plant faced it must be rescued urgently. We can’t allow an enterprise with such potential to perish. Especially, because the welfare of almost 10,000 citizens of Kharkiv (the plant’s workers and their families) and about 100,000 workers of allied enterprises located in Ukraine depend on its stability. Therefore, the international consortium, just created, will work on achieving two key goals – revitalizing manufacturing and returning the KTP to the international level.”

The process to finalize the deal is under way, resulting from today’s shareholders meeting held in Kharkiv.
